Expanding Sexuality

To explain sexuality is to explain emotions, it differs for every person. To understand sexuality one must have an open mind and except the fact that their reality and understandings are unique to themselves. Look at popular characters like SpongeBob, with his curious and open minded nature, he would encourage the everyone to explore and embrace the large spectrum of sexual orientations and expressions. Just as the diverse sea creatures coexist harmoniously in Bikini Bottom, we, too, can learn to embrace diversity, promote inclusivity, and expand our cultural understanding of sexuality.

"If one “is” a woman, that is
surely not all one is; the term fails to be exhaustive, not because a
pregendered “person” transcends the specific paraphernalia of
its gender, but because gender is not always constituted coherently or consistently in different historical contexts"(Butler, "Gender Trouble", 4).

Terms of gender and sexuality are alike, they cannot be exhaustive for all. As we progress people will be able to effectively express themselves in ways that Transend sexuality and gender. They will be who they are.
